From our first conversation to the moment you exchange your vows, I’ll guide you in crafting a ceremony that is heartfelt, meaningful and uniquely yours.
We begin with a complimentary initial consultation, either in person or via video call. This is your chance to ask questions, connect and make sure we’re the right fit because feeling comfortable with your celebrant is key to a truly meaningful ceremony.
Next, we’ll explore your vision for the day, your values and the story of your relationship. You’ll complete a thoughtfully designed questionnaire, which gives you the space to share the moments, memories and details of your journey that allow me to craft a ceremony that truly tells your story.
Every ceremony I create is entirely bespoke, with a unique script written just for you, it is carefully crafted to feel authentic, heartfelt and unforgettable. Your ceremony includes your love story, commitments, wedding vows, the exchange of rings, chosen readings or poems, music and a final blessing or acclamation. I can also incorporate meaningful rituals or symbolic elements that reflect who you are as a couple.
You’ll have the chance to review and fine-tune every word, making sure each line feels authentic to you as a couple. Should questions, ideas or nerves arise along the way, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
As your wedding day approaches, I include one rehearsal at your venue, whenever feasible. This helps everyone feel confident and relaxed ahead of the ceremony. I’ll also coordinate with your venue and wedding suppliers to ensure everything flows seamlessly, allowing you to stay fully present and enjoy your moment.
On the day itself, I’ll arrive at least one hour beforehand, holding the space with calm, confidence and warmth as your ceremony unfolds. I only ever book one wedding per day, so your love story receives my complete focus and care.
After your celebration, you’ll receive a beautifully presented copy of your ceremony script, a keepsake to treasure long after your wedding day has passed.

Unlike registrars or vicars, celebrants are not bound by fixed scripts or traditions. I start with a blank canvas and guide you with warmth, expertise and calm reassurance, so you can relax and enjoy a ceremony that’s uniquely yours.

In England and Wales, a celebrant-led wedding is not legally binding on its own. Most couples complete the legal formalities at a local registry office either before or after their wedding day.
This simple process involves giving notice and attending a short appointment to sign the marriage documents in front of two witnesses. There’s no need to exchange vows or rings at this stage, leaving those meaningful moments for your celebrant ceremony.
Taking care of the legal side separately gives you complete freedom for your wedding day, with no restrictions on wording, content or location, allowing your ceremony to be truly personal and focused on your love story. I’m always happy to guide you through the process and answer any questions along the way.

I always aim for the perfect balance, enough depth and emotion to feel truly meaningful, while keeping your guests engaged and present in the moment. The overall feel is relaxed and joyful, with a sprinkle of romance and a strong sense of occasion because this is your wedding day, after all.
